If you happen to find yourself ending up in Canary Wharf and wondering what there is to do keep on reading!

Dose up on history at Museum of London Docklands

Head on down to the Museum of London if you’re interested in learning about the Docklands history! You can find out about the Docklnds at war, see what it was like to wander through the victorian reconstruction ‘sailortown’ and more!

The museum is a perfect day out for the family and has something for everyone like talks, gallery tours and craft activities! Oh and the museum is free to get into!

Go get some retail therapy

Theres plenty of places in Canary Wharf to go shopping! Its not the cheapest of places but it can accommodate those with a more modest budget.

Visit the Roof Garden

The crossrail place roof garden is on top of Canary Wharfs Crossrail station. It’s a free place you can go to enjoy nature. The plants are sorted in accordance to what hemisphere they’re from. You might find an exhibition on every now and then too!

Visit the flicks

Crossrail Place is also home to Canary Wharf Everyman Cinema. It’s a pretty cool place that has armchairs and sofas with foot rests rather than your normal seats.

Canarywharf always has something going on, open air concerts, food markets, vintage fairs in the summer, in the winter you’ve got an ice skating rink and winter fairs! Theres also a good programme of events happening usually.

Eating and drinking

You’ll obviously find a weatherspoons nearby but my favourite place to go is Jamies Italian. Theres plenty of places to go in Canary Wharf though!

You could check out Sticks n Sushi if you love high quality fresh food! They also serve a selection of chicken, pork, beef and vegetable skewers too!

If you're stuck for accomodation we recommend checking out Fraser Suites! There serviced apartments are ideal for a stay in Canary Wharf.
